Simply push the power button to start HVR recording.
HVR should be using the rear-facing camera.
Video quality should be set to 1280x960.
The video orientation should be set to 0 degrees and will auto-rotate when the flight computer is installed in the Astropod.
The video folder should be set to /storage/sdcard0/HVR.
The shutter sound setting will not affect Astropod’s performance.
Zoom should be set to 1.0x.
Night vision should not be selected.
Enable flashlight should not be selected.
Notification settings will not affect Astropod’s performance.
Available storage space should be selected.
Available batter should be selected.
Hide video should not be selected.
Password protection should not be selected.
Open the menu and select Location Sharing
This window allows you to select how you’d like to share your location. For ease of use, we recommend selecting “until you turn this off”.
Enter the email address of your primary Google account. You should be immediately notified that your Astropod is sharing its location with you on your smartphone.
Using your own smartphone, you should not be able to see the location and battery life of your Astropod. This one’s at our office in Sheffield!
